RSS Marketing
There are tons of resources free and paid about RSS Marketing out there today. Certainly a far cry from only a short year ago when marketers were largely in the dark about RSS but it has certainly boomed like crazy. Some people say it may be a fad but I think RSS and RSS Marketing is here to stay for very a simple reason. In 2004 alone, blog readership grew by over 50%! That is phenomenal. What's better is, most people read or find out about blogs even though they don't know what it is. So the potential and inquisitive factor is there. Plus as more and more companies including mainstream media get into blogging, the more it's going to grow.
If you're the more technically inclined, you're probably thinking blogging and RSS are independent of each other. You're right. To a certain point they are different but highly intertwined technologies. I guess the point I'm trying to make here is the more blogging grows so will RSS. So how does one practice RSS Marketing? Plenty of ways. It can take the form of creating RSS feeds, Using RSS readers, RSS directories, RSS services and a heavy dose of creativity never hurt marketing. I've written several articles on this subject and you can read them by clicking on the links below.
